This Thursday’s English-language film put on the by film club at Almuñécar’s Casa de la Cultura will be Far from the Madding Crowd (2015).

The film was originally to be shown last week but owing to technical difficulties, it had to be postponed.

Synopsis: In Victorian England, the independent and headstrong Bathsheba Everdene attracts three very different suitors: Gabriel Oak, a sheep farmer; Frank Troy, a reckless Sergeant; and William Boldwood, a prosperous and mature bachelor.
