An 18-year-old Romanian woman collapsed on the street from a heart attack and later died in hospital.

The incident took place in Valencia on Saturday the 31st, when the young pregnant mother suddenly fell to the ground unconscious. A witness alerted the police, but wrongly reported that she had been attacked by a man who had been accompanying her at the time.

When the police arrived they saw that she had simply collapsed and was not breathing and had no pulse. They carried out resuscitation procedure whilst waiting for the ambulance but the woman was declared dead upon arrival.

The details of how far advanced her pregnancy was or the reason for the heart attack have not been given.
