The Almuñécar Town Hall has been out evaluating the storm damage caused to its coastline on Sunday the 1st of November.

Councillor for Beaches, Luis Aragón highlighted the damaged caused on Velilla Beach to the chiringuitos, La Barca and La Primera Ola de Mar.

But although these two locations are instances of personal loss, there has also been damage with a wider impact, such as that caused to the breakwater next to the water park.

The other point was on the Cotobro road where a whole has appeared, thanks to the undermining caused by the waves hitting the sea wall. Consequently, the road has been closed to traffic.
