The Spokesperson for the PA in Salobreña has pointed out that the Mayor had promised that work on the paseo would recommence in October – it hasn’t and there is no sign of activity.

The Mayor, María Eugenia Rufino, together with the provincial delegate for the Central Government, Santiago Pérez, made the pledge back in August this year – the reparation work had been suspended so as not to coincide with the summer tourist season.

The Mayor stated that the work would recommence in October, so that Paseo Marítimo would be finished for Easter.

Hopefully, we will receive a press release from the Mayor giving her explanation on what is happening.
