The Centro Mediterráneo at the Universidad de Granada held a diving course in La Herradura at the Openwater Diving Centre.
The course, which also used the village sports pavilion, was on ‘scientific diving techniques for sport divers,’ and was held over the 2nd weekend of September
The course director was Félix Hidalgo Puertas, (marine biologist and diver) at the Zoology Department at the university and Juan D. López-Arquillo, who is the Secretary of the university diving club and PADI instructor, as well as Marta Valverde Viguera, member of the university diving club and who holds a specialist PADI instructor licence as Underwater Research Assistant.
The course had three parts, covering scientific diving, archaeology and Biology.
Sounds like they had fun.
