A 56-year-old German woman and long-time Almuñécar resident, died suddenly from a suspected heart attack whilst walking along an Almuñécar street this morning.

Ina M. came to Spain from Germany, along with her family when she was in her teens, she was well known for her love of horses and was very well loved here in the community, both amongst foreigners and locals.

The incident occurred in Calle Arcos del Ingenio at 11.00h this morning, Tuesday the 15th.

Editorial note: Ina was a very, very dear friend from many years back. I shan’t say any more until we publish an obit, but I personally wish her four sisters and mother, Piroska, much strength in the wake of her passing.
