The Motril emergency services carried out a drill (training exercise) down on Playa Poniente during the afternoon of Saturday the 5th.

Naturally, the municipal police, with their new vehicles, were the first on the scene with the task of cordoning off the area and then the fire services arrived to put out a fictitious fire.

All told, 20 personnel from the various departments were involved, as well as the new police quad, two ambulances and a fire truck.
