The Festival Internacional de Jazz en la Costa in Almuñécar this year attracted some 15,000 spectators – each year there are more.

In fact, such was the demand that the organizers had to increase audience allowance for the Eliane Elias, Dee Dee Bredgewater and Marcus Miller concerts.

Almost 75% of the audience were visitors to the town, as opposed to residents, which has brought some money into the town, for sure.

The Manager of the festival, Jesús Villalba, emphasized the growing response to the festival each year, with more and more interest being show from abroad.
