Salobreña’s idea of scattering small musical performances around different rincones (nooks and crannies) of the town was a great success, which is why it is back.

What could be nicer than stumbling into tiny square or narrow street to find three of four musicians playing classical music, popular music, flamenco and other kinds in intimate collusion with passersby?

The Town Hall has planned a total of eight performances throughout the summer, the first being the 2nd of July when the Dúo Rosa Lazar will offer a performance on Calle Suspiro, right in the heart of old-town Salobreña.

From then on there will be a performance every Thursday during July and August at 22.00h. This programme will only vary if one of the performances coincides with another planned event of greater importance.

So, there you go; Jazz, Blues, Bossa Nova or Flamenco, scattered around town on such locations as the Mirador de Enrique Morente, or old streets running next to the castle and… however could it be otherwise, in the old town-hall square.
