Slides, tyres to jump through, somewhere interesting to defecate; in fact, all that a dog could want – the new Salobreña canine park!

In fact, the Town Hall has been busy on two fronts in the canine area: sterilization (not so popular) and a park (definitely not to be “sniffed at”).

This canine recreation park is the first of a total of five parks that are planned for Salobreña; all the brainchild of under 30-year-olds taken on in the Environment Area thanks to the Employment Plan.

But let’s not get carried away, because of the five planned parks, only one is for dogs; the others are for petanque for pensioners and foreigners – nice big area to throw your balls around but nowhere interesting to defecate, of course.

There is also going to be one destined as a picnic area.

The Councillor for the Environment emphasized the inestimable help of the Club Internacional de Salobreña, who provided the material for two of the parks, including the dog one.
