We’re in Munich, Germany for this strange tale, where police raided a brothel after a drugs tip off and found several types of narcotics during their search, and a lamb. Yes, a lamb!

Several people were arrested in the raid, including the prostitute who said she owned the lamb, called Birke. All were taken to the police station and locked in cells. Apart from the lamb, who was too cute to lock up and finished her day being fed by police officers who took it in turns to hold her bottle.

The officers eventually and it seems reluctantly, released Birke into the custody of the German animal protection agency.

So, why was there a lamb in a brothel? Not for the reasons some of you may think‚ as it turns out, the worker who had Birke in her room has previous convictions for keeping wild or farm animals in inappropriate conditions. She has now been told she is banned from owning any type of animal.

The police denied that the operation was a Ram Raid and in no way was the brothel owner a wolf in sheep´s clothing. Mind you, they did confirm that many of the clients had been fleeced. Finally, they refuted the allegation that the wool had been pulled over their eyes. Is that enough?
