Thanks to an agreement between the Almuñécar Town Hall and the Provincial Health Authorities, La Herradura will have a new service to make medical appointments easier.

The First Councillor for the village, Ruiz Joya, explained that if somebody needed a doctor’s appointment for a blood analysis or to see a specialist, for example, they can make the appointment in La Herradura at the Atencion al Ciudadano desk without having to go over to Almuñécar.

The system should be up and running, he said, by next week; i.e., before the elections, strangely enough.

The said desk, which is just inside the entrance of the Centro de Saludo, will be operative Monday to Friday from 08.00h to 15.00h.
