Trivial Sexitano

ALM Trivial Sexitano copyTwo young Almuñequeros have come up with Trivial Sexitano; a sort of Trivial Pursuit based on Almuñécar

The designers, Emilio Estévez and Manuel Castillo, are great fans of the original game and thought that it would be a good idea to design one with questions on the traditions, history and popular figures from the town.

They had the support of the Municipal Librarian, Javier Sánchez, who gave them tips and books to find their material.

“We originally compiled six sections but realised there was room for more. The first version has 1,000 questions,” explained Manuel Castillo.

Apart from the questions and answers, the game contains a good selection of old photographs of the town, with the idea that local kids can see what the town used to look like. Much of this latter information they managed to find on facebook, especially on Recuerdos de Almuñécar.

The Town Hall Youth Council is collaborating so that those interested in helping out or who have ideas can do so on line (www.trivialsexitano.com).

Trivial Sexitano can be downloaded with a free app for mobiles and tablets: App Store Smartphone and App Store.

So at the moment, it is only available on the Internet but they hope to come up with a real board-game version which can be played by the whole family.
