When you suffer a break in, you expect to lose the TV, cash, jewels etc, but what you don’t expect to lose are the windows… read on!

A 24-year-old burglar was arrested, accused of stealing the sitting-room windows & their frames, the ones in the bathroom and the ones in the kitchen… oh, and the kitchen sink and taps.

Obviously, this was not a night’s work and most house owners don’t sleep through that sort of ‘activity.’ No, the burglar, taking advantage of one of his neighbour’s absence from her Granada flat, managed to get into the apartment via the central patio.

When the house owners returned home after this stay away, they were dismayed, to say the least and reported the burglary to the Policía Nacional, who didn’t take that long to track down the culprit – at this stage, “alleged.”

Ed: It was probably an open and shut case, although the suspect will probably claim he was framed… meanwhile the Guardia saw straight through his story saying he committed the offence with malice of a faucet.
