The south-west wall of La Herradura’s cemetery, where the family vaults are, has long had a damp problem, but not for much longer…
The Town Hall has hired local building company Bagelsa, to sort the problem out, informed the First Councillor for the village, Juan José Ruiz Joya.
To do this they are going to dig back the garden area along that stretch, which appears to have been causing the damp – when they are watered, the moisture goes through the wall and affects the family vaults.
Once the wall is damp proofed, then the gardens can be put back again.
