San Jose might still be two months away, but La Herradura is already preparing for the village fiestas from the 18th to the 22nd of March.
The First Councillor of the village has already announced the conditions for the bar in the main marquee for those interested in taking it on, as well as opening up subscriptions for the Feria del Día.
Those interested in the above; i.e., the marquee bar, have until the 2nd of March to submit their application form to the Town Hall. The starting bid is 3,000 euros, and you will have your work cut out for you to take that sort of money, as well covering the rest of your expenses… perhaps.
Those interested must submit a sealed envelope with their bid, as well as their name, NIF and address the envelope to the Teniente de Alcalde, Juan José Ruiz Joya.
The Feria del Dia will be placed on Calle Eucalipto – existing bars and restaurants can apply, as well as clubs, associations and political parties.
The fair will be set up on the 16th and 17th of March and the inauguration will take place on the 18th at 13.00h. The last day will be Sunday the 22nd, and the Day Fair will run from 12.00h to 19.00h each of those days.
As far as a slot on the fair goes, it’s first come, first served, so get your name down quick.
