Judge Del Arco has been investigating whether the provincial prison in Albolote has been dumping untreated sewage into a stream.
Things came to light in 2010 when a property owner lodged a complaint, saying that since 1997 when the prison was built, his land has suffered “serious and repeated damage.”
Such is the ‘output’ from the prison sewers that quite extensive soil erosion has taken place, without going into the stench and pollution.
Perhaps there is room for a couple more inmates; i.e., those that built the prison and the political overseers?
