The strike on the 29th went ahead, hitting hotels with more severity than the restaurateurs. On average the percentage of walk outs was 80% for hotels and 50% restaurants.
For example the city of Granada, Hotel San Antón suffered a 100% walk out whereas at Hotel Saray it was 80%.
Down on the coast Hotel Robinson and Hotel Victoria registered a 70% walk out and 50% at Playa Cálida.
The above figures are according to the two main unions, CCOO and UGT. The unions also claim that individual workers that walked out lost 80 euros from their pockets in order to support the strike.
Apart from the press releases from the unions there is still no other sources to confirm these figures.
