The much-hyped Mona Fest, which was to take place in Salobreña on the 21st, 22nd & 23rd of August has been cancelled.

The reason: “not having reached the necessary economic objectives,” explained the organizers. In other words, there was insufficient interest by members of the general public. Thus the first attempt to stage the event in the village was fruitless.

The organizers assure those that have already bought tickets that they will receive a full refund in the following days, at the different ticket-sale points.
