The Almuñécar dog show will be held on the 7th and 8th of June on the Paseo Blas Infante (Sunday Market Square).

The competition, entitled: Concurso Nacional Canino y I Exposición Nacional Canina ‘Ciudad de Almuñécar,’ starts at 17.00h and lasts until 19.30h on the Saturday, with displays of discipline.

We have absolutely no idea what is happening on the Sunday as the press release is as clear as mud, but keep your cat away from the square on Sunday, just in case.

The winning animals in each section will receive their corresponding prizes.

You can put you mutt’s name forward until the 30th of this month, and it’s free.

The event is organised by the Asociación Sexitano Afgans, and the Animals and Plants Protection Association, Granadal. the competition is sponsored by the Almuñécar Town Hall.
