The ticket was bought in the lottery office in Calle Príncipe, which is run by Concepción Guillén. Strangely… nobody has come forward but even so the villagers are happy that even such a ‘modest’ prize should end up in La Herradura. This is the second time that the village has attracted a lottery prize, the first time being a couple of years ago on the Bonoloto.
Just in case you are wondering… that 100 million jackpot that crash landed in Almuñécar back in November… we’re still none the wiser who it was. However, the national lottery agency, Loterías y Apuestas del Estado, has confirmed that somebody has already cashed it in, which is hardly surprising, as you only have 30 days to claim a win or you can kiss goodbye to it!
