The incident occurred on the 21st on Calle Ángel Gámez when the 67-year-old man fell to the ground in distress.
The medics praised the prompt action of the policemen, using the CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) which made it possible to get him to the hospital alive. In fact, according to the local Police Chief, Manuel Ledesma, their intervention made the difference between life and death.
The Mayor, Trinidad Herrera and the Councillor for Citizen Safety, Juan José Ruiz Joya, also congratulated the policemen.
