Libreriá Jofre in Almuñécar sold a winning lottery ticket worth 10,000 euros. Readers will remember that they also sold a winning ticket for the El Gordo at Christmas 2012.

Shop owner, María Teresa Gamarra explained that she has no idea who the ticket holder is, although if she did, she would obviously not divulge it.

The winning ticket belonged to the Joker Lottery and is the largest hand out from this particular lottery in Almuñécar to date.

As for the 100m-euro win that set the town alight with speculation, nothing has emerged about who the possible winner could be but most people consider that it must have been a tourist on holiday in the town.
