Salobreña will be holding a charity road race around the old town on the 8th of February, in favour of Cáritas.

The race, entitled: la I Carrera “Solidaria” Casco Antíguo de Salobreña, will start out from the Plaza del Ayuntamiento at 19.00h and wind its way up to the old town-hall square, now called the Plaza del Museo.

The event is organized by the Cofradía del Cristo del Perdón de Salobreña in collaboration with the Town Hall and the Asociación de Vecinos del Casco Antiguo.

There will be a 6-euro subscription fee, which will be donated to the said charity.

Participants compete for a 1st Prize of €100, 2nd Prize €75 and 3rd Prize €50. All participants will be rewarded with nice cup of piping hot chocolate at the end of the race.
