The First Councillor for Carchuna-Calahonda, Concepción Abarca, can be seen here eyeing, proudly, the end result of the Plaza Orellana facelift.

Sra Abarca said that this action brings to fruition a long-standing desire by the locals to have more lighting in the said square. Accordingly, the square now sports new lampposts, as well as a brand new fountain with its own lighting arrangement.

The fountain, by the way, has been provided by the Tropical Garden company, which is the one charged with municipal garden maintenance. Sra. Abarca also praised them for providing the park benches, too.
