Have you been wondering what that trailer/caravan is about, parked on Playa Puerto de Mar, Almuñécar? Well, it’s part of the Innomercamed project, created to drum up small-business cooperation between the Costa Tropical and North Africa.
The programme covers three days, ending on Wednesday evening and comprises of talks and even attractive hostesses buzzing around town on segway vehicles – that’s those two-wheeled affairs that you operate by leaning in the direction you want to go.
Most of the funding (75%) has come from the EU as part of the Feder programme (Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional) – there’s a surprise!
Tomorrow afternoon, for example, there will be a talk in the mobile unit about how to set up contacts with Moroccan counterparts, hiring, logistics, transport, payment forms, risk coverage and customs management. This takes place between 19.00h and 20.30h.
