The Ladies of Las Amigas de la Cruz de la Victoria are staging their second flag day tomorrow, Saturday, in Almuñécar, collecting donations to fight cancer.

You will find them in the Plaza de la Constitucion (town-hall square) and at the entrance to the municipal market. They will also be armed with plenty of buñuelos y chocolate!

Another social cause will be supported tomorrow, Saturday the 11th, as well, but in the Majuelo botanical gardens in support of a family (three children) that is facing eviction up in the old town. The slogan of the event is “Tomorrow it could be you!”

The last event will be the Festival por la Vida in the Casa de la Cultura in Almuñécar on May the 25th. It will also be in aid of the Asociación Española Contra el Cancer.

There will be dance put on by flamenco school directed by Maria la Canastera and Niño Carmelo; a gymnastic display directed by Susana; more dance from Andalucía Baila, ArteDanz, Al-Mainoba and Escuela Asun.
