The camper vans parked in Salobreña have been evicted by Local Police with no reason or explanation. Their drivers were told to leave the site before a deadline underlining the order with threats and intimidation writing down the number plates of the vehicles.

Things were different in La Guardia area where local merchants and restaurateurs have pressed the Ayuntamiento not to evict these tourists. These tourists were said to be occupying the fair ground so they had to move their vehicles.

It is a punch in the face for Salobreña’s image since these people travel all over Europe recommending the best places to visit and I know for sure that Salobreña was one on the best recommendations.
