Mountain-bike rider, Julio Gómez, came first in the Elite Category in the I Open Navideño de BMX Almuñécar. Altogether, around 30 participants competed on the BMX course in El Pozuelo, Taramay.

This sporting event, which was organised by the Almuñécar-based, Club Show Time BMX, serves as a springboard for the Copa de España de BMX and the Campeonato de España de BMX, and who knows; perhaps even the European BMX Championships which will be held in Dessel, Belgium.

As mentioned, Julio Gómez won First Prize, followed by Hugo Etienne Peñalver and Alejandro Guirado. In Fourth Place was Dominik Szell, Fifth,  Daniel Sánchez and Sixth,  Sergio Garrido.
