Paco and Ceci at Restaurante Kairos, Almuñécar have a great treat for diners laid on in the form of a special Menu de Noche which will be of special interest for Seaside Gazette readers: if you take in a copy or simply tell them that you’re there after having read this, you will have your house wine or beer free during the meal.

The conditions are that you make a reservation between 19.00h and 20.00h, and from the time that the first dish goes down until your second-course plate is taken away, your house wine and beer will be free. This mean that any wine or beer consumed before your first course or after you second will be charged apart.

The price is 16.50 euros but this is a Menu de Noche with a-la-carte quality dishes. For example, the first course is a choice between a Mushroom Carpaccio with a Goat’s Cheese Foam and Pesto, or King Prawns a-la-sal baked, in aluminium foil, or Jamón Serrano and Cheese.

The second course can be Boned Ribs in Honey or Prawn Brochette wrapped in Bacon, for example.

For those of you who know this class Almuñécar restaurant, you won’t be need to be told that there is plenty of parking behind the building (where the notary is) and that the decor and food is excellent.

Oh, before we forget, they also do an excellent Menu del Dia for 12 euros comprising of a choice of three starters and three main courses.
