Following the article published in the Seaside Gazette concerning the German resident in Salobreña who was to be tried for kidnapping and sexual aggression against a compatriot female neighbour, the judge has reached a verdict and passed down the sentence.
Although the Public Prosecutor only recommended 16 years’ imprisonment, the condemned man was finally awarded two years more; 18 years.
The judge considered it proven that the accused detained his victim against her will on two separate occasions, in both instances for several hours, taking advantage of this to sexually abuse her.
The accused denied the charges against him, describing the accusations as pure revenge for not agreeing to remain in Spain, as his intention was to move back to Germany.
