Jet-ski Accident

(Malaga Province) A woman, who probably fancied herself as Boadecia on a war chariot, rocketed across the water off Playa La Araña on a jet-ski, armed with ambition but lacking experience or a licence.

Before you can say, “Down with the Romans!” she had lost control and ran up the beach, taking out three kids along the way, aged between five and seven. Fortunately, none of them received more than a few bruises.

The 32-year-old woman, who was also slightly injured, left the beach at the same speed as she had arrived on it, but this time on foot, leaving the sulking machine behind.

The Policia Local were soon on the scene, inspecting the large-cylinder beast and questioning witnesses. It turns out that Boadicea wasn’t alone on the H2O chariot, because she also had a 36-year-man hanging on for dear life as a passenger.

When the police tracked him down – he was not far away – he claimed that he didn’t know the woman (right!) He claimed that he had asked her to let him ride with her, which she had accepted.

But she wasn’t to remain anonymous much longer because upon inspecting the vehicle they found a waterproof plastic bag containing the vehicle docs. However, before they could knock on her door, she had already reported to the police station to admit to being the rider.
