Young Car Thief Nabbed

The Policia Nacional in Motril has arrested a 16-year-old lad in connection with more than a dozen break-ins carried out on parked cars in Torrenueva.

Police investigations began after complaints from victims started to come in at the police head quarters in Motril, concerning vehicle break-ins and valuables being removed. All told 13 separate complaints were filed.

Fingerprint matches and other data pointed towards a known juvenile delinquent and instructions were issued to track him down and pick him up, which they did. The police, however, have not ruled out other arrests concerning this string of thefts.

We can suppose, when he is old enough to own and drive his own car, he might feel differently about people breaking into them and nicking everything of value within, no?
