More cultural news, this time in the Casa de la Cultura, where on the 9th of June you will be able to see a flamenco performance to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Escuela de Baile de María Goméz, La Canestera. It will be a special gala event.

For those of you who are unaware of it, the family behind this, headed by Ricardo de la Juana and Rosa, have travelled all over the world performing, winning praise where ever they have been. Rosa who recently retired, leaving the dancing side to her daughter, will be doing a come-back special performance for the event.

A complete list of performers for the night are: Guitar: Niño Carmelo; Cante: Ricardo de la Juana, Pablo Escudero & Raquel Mingorance; Percussion: Benjamin Santiago ¨El Moreno; ¨Flute: Antonio Gomez¨El Turry¨ and on the Mouth Organ: Manolo.

The modest entrance fee is only five euros, by the way.
