The Burning Bush

As better and hotter weather fast approaches, the following is a fire-risk reminder: outside of Guadix local fire-fighters were called in to extinguish a small blaze when they discovered the body of a senior citizen, who it appeared had been burning old branches, leaves and such and then was engulfed by the ensuing fire.

The man’s family had reported him as missing but it wasn’t until the blaze was discovered that the poor man’s fate was as well.
Authorities have reminded people of the extreme caution needed when burning agricultural waste, and the need to always have at least one other person with you during said activity.
