Amoral Integrity

Two youngsters in Granada have been accused of an attack against moral integrity after they secretly filmed one of their classes and then posted the video on YouTube, accompanied by all sorts of rude and perjorative comments concerning their teacher.

There is nothing new in the substance of this, only the method. Students have always made fun of their teachers (and fellow scholars) – I know that I used to do it and so did you. But methods change with the times, and one supposes that the globalization of this belittlement of the teacher is what made their infraction seem so serious.
The students have recognized the error of their ways and have agreed to publicly ask for forgiveness.

Whatever happened to good old flogging?
