Karcher Immobilaria

I think the whole world is interested in the housing market at the moment, whether you own property or rent. People are guessing and second-guessing when this crisis is going to end.

I spoke with María Karcher about just that this week and asked her how her summer had gone. She explained she has had lots of enquiries, mostly for holiday apartments but found that buyers were surprised to see that the prices in La Herradura had not gone down as much as they had expected.

Maria explained to me this is because La Herradura is geographically bound, being a bay of course, and it still manages to retain its uniqueness and beauty (especially after all the rain we had earlier in the year). It still has a village feel and very friendly atmosphere. Quite rightly she acknowledged there are not lots of half-built properties as there are in other locations like Murcia and Alicante, which clearly are detrimental to those areas.

María went on to say she has had many enquiries from Scandinavians and Belgians, as well as a real mix of Europeans. Traditionally, autumn has been the time for the more serious buyer and she believes there are still many serious buyers out there. That’s good news!
