Concerning Monte de los Almendros, there has been another outbreak of criticism regarding the water and sewage arrangements on the urbanisation, this time from a group called, Ecologists in Action. The president of the group of urbanizations along the Coast, Sr. Manuel Bosch, complains that his residents all pay high rates of IBI, yet receive very few benefits in return. And the action group points to ‘hundreds of channels where waste flows, to the dismay of local farmers.’
