Motril’s annual air display will take place on Playa Granada at 11 o’clock in the morning of Sunday the 6th of June.
Last year the air display was dedicated to helicopters and gyrocopters, whereas this year the emphasis is on light aircraft, featuring an aerobatics team and there will also be a military contingent.
In fact there will be related activities during most of the proceeding week, starting on the 1st of June with a chat given by the pilots of the ASPA patrol, belonging to the Spanish Air Force They will give a Power Point presentation on the unit, including their aerobatic manoeuvres.
On the 2nd the Station Commander of the EVA 9 airbase of Motril will give a chat on the history of the Spanish Air Force in Motril.
There will be an informal chat given by the organisers of GyroAfrica 2010 and the gyrocopter ELA 07 team.
And then on the 4th, the technical director of the festival, Merce Marti, who is a world-champeon holder stage racing will give a chat on the festival.
All chats will be given at 20.00 h in the Casa de Torre Isabel, accept for the first.
