Why not treat the mother in your life on Mothering Sunday, 14th March? Mark at Los Laureles is preparing a special menu to spoil those special ladies for just €15.
Starters include a choice from soup of the day, Confit of lamb with wild mushrooms, peas and celeriac puree, or prawn and spinach tart, avocado and watercress salad, then a main choice of roast sirloin of beef, Yorkshire puddings, horseradish sauce or pan fried cod, olive oil mash, gremolata, tapenade of olives, or even stuffed aubergines, spinach ricotta and tomato salsa… all of course served with vegetables. You can then finish off with a choice of lemon tart, strawberry sorbet with caramel crackers, or white chocolate cheesecake, orange ice cream with cinnamon biscuits, or maybe Stilton mousse, fennel crackers and fruit chutney.
