Rubish Collector Injured

A rubbish collection operator had his arm caught in the lorry’s loading mechanism – which is not recommended.
The 38-year-old man had to be prised out by the municipal firemen in the early hours of the morning, when the rubbish crew were cleaning up Calle Ramón y Cajal.
When one of the men climbed onto the back and pulled the hydraulic press lever, the mechanism trapped his arm. Fortunately, the said mechanism has a sensor that detects obstacles and stopped the crushing process, saving the man from having a mangled or amputated arm.
After he was finally freed, was taken to Motril hospital where surgeons operated on his arm to mend the fractures and internal injuries to the muscle structure.
