Rocío Palacios, former local PSOE leader, continues on her higher political plain and has now been confirmed as Director-General of Migratory Policies, within the Junta’s Employment Board.
Rocío was born in Almuñécar in 1973 and has a degree in Political & Social Science. She handed in her municipal councillor’s Certificate of Election just over a year ago in May 2008 to move to Sevilla.
Many considered long before that Almuñécar was just a political steppingstone for Rocío, who aspired to greater pastures.
