Just how good is Pizzeria Realengo in La Herradura? Well it’s my job to write about all the nice things that restaurants and café bars produce, so it came as a bit of a shock to have someone tell me something about Realengo I didn’t know. That something is the steak… For some reason, it had never crossed my mind to think of having steak in a pizzeria, or maybe I had noticed it but just skipped over it on the menu.
Well, not only was the recommendation correct, but I have since been back twice, just to make sure! As you are all aware, I have the figure of a chiselled Adonis, but even I couldn’t resist a revisit.
Not only does Pizzeria Realengo serve fantastic crispy base pizzas, and the tastiest of pasta dishes, but I can definitely confirm they serve a truly cracking steak.
This family run venue is a real diamond, good food, excellent service and great value for money. And I did ask about the steak, and although they admitted they knew a thing or two about cooking meat as well as pizza, they said the secret is in the produce, and they assure me they have a great supplier of the finest cuts… I think I’d better go back just make extra sure.
