The body of a 30-year-old woman was found on the edge of the beach at Playa Poniente in Motril. The corpse was laying only five metres from the shore and was discovered by a council worker employed to clean the gardens of the promenade. There were no signs of violence however the body, deemed to be of Latin-American origin, has yet to be identified. For the time being no cause of death will be given until the results of the autopsy from the Forensic Institute of Anatomy in Granada are issued.
