The Asociación vecinal Cal y Caña de Salobreña has complained about motorised paragliders carrying out “illegal practices” at Playa Punta del Río, next to the mouth of the Guadalfeo River.

The company that provides Almuñécar with town and beach cleaning services, retrieved the wreck of a road vehicle just off the mouth of Rio Seco. It is believe that it was swept down the river and into the bay during a flash flood more than 20 years ago.
