Hubby’s Helping Hand

A clerk at the University of Granada and his wife have found guilty of falsifying her examination marks. Consequently the clerk has received a 2-year, 4-month prison sentence and a fine of 1,800 euros (ouch!), whilst his ‘favoured’ wife received a 1-year, 9-month suspended prison sentence as was ordered to pay a fine of 1,620 euros. (Ouch, again).

Longer Work Days

The Town Hall clerks will now have to work one afternoon a week – they’re not pleased. The union would prefer that their members worked half an hour more every day, rather than 2.5 hours on one particular afternoon. Anyway, talks are still taking place with the staff but it is liable to be a Tuesday or Thursday afternoon.
