Brits Can Vote in UK Elections

We’ve just received this from the British Embassy in Madrid:

Thanks to a deal approved by the Central Government, British residents holding UK driving licences can soon exchange their licence for a Spanish one.

As can be expected, hundreds of Brits who have lived here for years are now rushing to empadronarse; in the case of Almuñécar, 640 of them.
