Mini Tornado hits Costa Tropical?

Most residents along the Costa Tropical expected a thunderstorm, but nobody, not even the meteorologists expected a mini tornado, which is supposedly what visited Salobreña and Motril, according to various TV channels.

Data and Dosh

To pass a comment is difficult, when others don’t provoke it, so from my point of view it was a dull month for the German corner. But if I would have to award a prize, it would have to go to the conservative Christian Social Union of Bavaria, which is the only federal state without a branch of Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union.

Cruises and Castles

When it was announced that the Costa Tropical was going to receive 18m euros for tourist infrastructure projects, everybody was over the moon. The next step was to submit proposals.

The Unsafe Safe

One particular construction company had its back to the wall by the end of 2008, with the ‘Brick Bubble’ coming apart. Accordingly, the decided to file for bankrupcy. However, in January 2009 ‘crooks’ broke into the company offices and cracked the safe, getting away with 110,000 euros… or did they?

Opposing a Tax Claim

The Spanish general tax law (law 58/2003 of 17 December) regulates the obligations and the rights of the taxpayer. Spain is probably the country in Europe with most regulations concerning the payment of taxes. At the same time the Spanish law gives guarantees to the taxpayer.

Salobreña and its IBI

A series of events concerning the IBI (municipal property tax) took place over a span of four days in Salobreña, causing quite a stir.
