Castle Work Resumes

After a full year standing idle, the renovation works have restarted at La Herradura Castle. The work includes a dig by archaeologists from the School of Arabic Studies in Granada.

I popped into to see Susi at her veterinary clinic in Salobreña, which is not far away from the Tourism Information Office. Susi Mesa, who is originally from Las Islas Canarias, met her husband, Javier when they were both studying to be veterinary surgeons in Córdoba. As he is from Salobreña, they decided to set up shop there.
Meson Magic

The Meson in the town hall square in Almuñécar is just great. If you haven’t tried one of their brochetas, you haven’t lived! I didn’t realise that they even made metal spikes that long, except for fighting, and that you could fit so much tasty food onto just one! Don’t go thinking I’m talking about a simple pinchito here.
