New members are still welcome to join the Almuñécar Women’s Group every Monday from 13:30 till 14:30 at the Look It’s Music Academy in Almuñécar. It is a 1-hour harmony singing session with Russell Nash.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting a dynamic, fellow Dane, based in Málaga. His name is Henrik Andersen. I contacted him because I heard he was organizing the Smokie concert on May 8th at Castillo Solhail in Fuengirola.

The Awards are an annual search to find the UK’s favourite Lottery-funded project, and they aim to celebrate and recognise the difference that those projects have made to people, places and communities all across the UK.

Ventura Flamenco

Quite a few people have mentioned to me just how much they have enjoyed the Flamenco evenings at La Ventura in Almuñécar.
Well now, it’s going to be bigger and better! With the patio to the rear of the premises having had a stage installed, there will now be live Flamenco music and dance every Thursday and Sunday from 20.30h.

It’s Gastronomy Time

It’s June, and that means it is once again time for the Feria Gastromónica (Gastronomic Fair), in the Majuelo Park in Almuñécar during the weekend of 11th, 12th and 13th.
Those of you who have been to this event before will no doubt be paying another visit, and if this is one of the annual ferias you have not yet visited, then you are in for a treat.

Motril Air Display

Motril’s annual air display will take place on Playa Granada at 11 o’clock in the morning of Sunday the 6th of June.
